Of course there were scenes we all were ready to kill over not seeing in Twilight when it played out so perfectly in our minds when we were reading. So my question is: what scenes are you most invested to see translated from book to screen?
I'm dying to see the Italy scene with her running up to Edward. Of course they won't skip that one, BUT I hope they do the excitement of it justice. My heart could have fallen from my chest while reading it.
I also like the scene when she goes to Port Angeles with Jessica and starts tempting fate and walking towards those guys to hear Edward's voice and Jessica thinks she's nuts.
I really hope Kristen Stewart does Bella's emotional journey in this one justice.
I need to think on this one and probably reread New Moon.

Nina, you got me on ALL of those. I need to see the entire Italy scene. It all seems to be..amazing. Ofcourse, I desperately need to see the Volturi part, including when they bring the "visitors" who become food. I really want to see the religious woman who was speaking in a different language the entire time. I need to see the motorcycle scene with Bella and Jacob because I need to see Taylor on a motorcycle. *drools*
I need to see Jacob turning into a werewolf, as well as his friends dwindling away. I need to see Emily.

You guys nailed it for me. They NEED to do the Volturi scene justice, I NEED to see Jane's powers in action (I'm not going to lie, I totally nurse a soft spot for Jane. Face it, bad or not, Jane completely kicks ass. She holds way too much power for someone so tiny). I really want to see the cliff jumping scene, complete with Alice's impromptu return.
& like you said, Niner - I hope that Kristen is able to capture Bella's emotion plight. I literally hurt for Bella through majority of this book, I'll be heartbroken if they aren't able to do it justice.

I'm excited to see Jacob turn for the first time. I hope they have some degree of chemistry together. We need to believe in the potential of something there for them. Kristen Stewart kind of blew on the first one on establishing the romance and infatuation for Edward in Twilight so we need to see that in the beginning before he leaves for us to have the emotional breakdown of him leaving. Her angst-y acting will work better in this one, BUT Bella is hurt not just angry and she better pull that off.

It is so far away, BUT now that we're all aware of the Twilight universe we get to be fan girls during the production of this movie and squeal and faint when pictures are released from filming and we can all discuss and dissect everything. It'll be beautiful.

It is so far away, BUT now that we're all aware of the Twilight universe we get to be fan girls during the production of this movie and squeal and faint when pictures are released from filming and we can all discuss and dissect everything. It'll be beautiful. It's the only thing that gets me through, actually. During the production of Twilight (so I've heard anyways..I wasn't up in the Twilight Obsession world at that time) they had something called Twilight Tuesdays - where they'd talk about the newest Twilight news.
